Having Fun at the Dinner Table

When we eat dinner Keziah sits on the table in her bumbo. We figure, even if she can't eat, she shouldn't be left out of family time. First we had fun tugging on Daddy's beard. She does this all the time now.

She's gotten really curious about all things food. I'm betting I'm not going to get to delay solids as long as I want because pretty soon she is going to get her hands on my plate and start stuffing her mouth. Well, last night she was very interested in the water in Michael Paul's glass so he decided to let her experience water. She thought this was grand fun.

    Wesley wanted food way sooner than I had anticipated. I wanted to wait until after 6 1/2 months until he got anything but he was determined and a little sneaky (stealing some things from Daniel---or at least trying). We gave him his first baby food tastes at 5 1/2 months. He now wants anything and everything anyone is eating!

    You are right...she was trying to get stuff off your plate at Cracker Barrel. Almost had her first bite of pancakes!!
